SWiiMS Crafts a Cinematic Dreamscape with ‘Fade Days’

“Fade Days” by Toronto, Canada’s SWiiMS ushers listeners into a rich musical environment, filled with dreamy imagination. “Fade Days” immerses listeners in a surreal world of sound with its dreamy layers of electric guitar and enticing vocals that lead to emotionally compelling turns that keep them wondering at every note.

Colin Thompson (guitar/vocals), Mai Diaz Langou (vocals/guitar), and Cian O’Ruanaidh (bass/vocals) make up SWiiMS. Their career began with a goal for uncompromising musical expression and culminated in the writing and recording of LP, “Into the Blue Night”.

Guided by the sounds of 80s New Wave, 90s Indie Rock, Brit-Pop, Shoegaze, and Dream Pop, the band creates a captivating sound that defies simple classification while artfully melding numerous styles together.

Producer and engineer Josh Korody from Toronto provided his insightful reinterpretation, which was written and produced by SWiiMS. To create an engaging viewing experience, band member Cian O’Ruanaidh also shot a video that combined park landscapes with nightscapes from Toronto.

SWiiMS boasts an eclectic sound palette evoking comparisons to Diiv, Slowdive, Beach House and Alvvays, connecting globally and with fans from varying age groups worldwide.
