Marshall Fassino

Marshall Fassino is a troubadour influenced by musical idols who has unlocked his soul with his debut 10-track album entitled, ‘Ways I Used To Feel.’ Combining indie rock elements with post-punk influences for an intoxicating soundscape filled with lively beats and contemplative reflection.

“What A Drag”, an energetic indie rock anthem that sets the pace, serves as the opening track on this album and proves anything but boring. Driving drums, ringing guitars and bass combine for an irresistibly energetic tune which compels listeners to get up and move around their room while Fassino’s multi-layered vocals bring instant mood relief and are guaranteed to light up a room full of people.

Sparkly guitar riffs, an enthralling bass line with post-punk roots, and Fassino’s powerful vocal delivery all come together in “Smart to Me” to create a sound that is both familiar and unique.

Fassino switches gears towards the album’s conclusion with “Drinking For Two”, offering an emotive yet relaxing acoustic guitar introduction that offers a relaxed yet romantic soundscape, creating a reflective moment at its conclusion that spans emotions and experiences.

Marshall Fassino

Marshall Fassino sees this album as the result of hard work and sacrifice over the last several years – from searching through his father’s tape collection in Northern Wisconsin, all the way through managing an international studio in California and the creation of this work of music by Fassino himself.

Moves to Nashville and solo ventures provided the spark to reignite Fassino’s dormant material and ultimately yielded an album produced, performed, recorded, mixed, and mastered entirely by Fassino himself. Ways I Used To Feel was released as his most personal statement yet featuring power-pop, indie rock, classic rock influences as well as other forms of musical genres such as hip-hop.
