Kaeley Jade Searches For The Truth With Single, ‘Beneath The Lies’

In May this year we had the honour of sharing the single, ‘Ego’ from Canadian indie pop artist, Kaeley Jade, which you can read here. We are so excited that she returns with her newest single, ‘Beneath The Lies’.

Having been nominated for a Summer Solstice Indigenous Music Award and played on incredible stages such as Taste of Edmonton, Tkaronto Music Festival, and Edmonton’s Indigenous Peoples’ Festival, Kaeley intertwines imagery that conjures the imagination, with catchy melodies.

Kaeley Jade creates her own signature indie-pop style, taking inspiration from the likes of Maggie Rogers and The Lumineers.

Produced by the JUNO-nominated team at Velveteen Music, Kaeley Jade’s latest single, ‘Beneath The Lies’ is the 4th single release from her upcoming debut album, and tells a story of the lengths we go to in order to hide the truth. The track has been said to be likened to the sounds of Taylor Swift or Maggie Rogers.

“‘Beneath the Lies’ was borne of an incredibly, horrifically, painfully awkward encounter I had had with anex-partner of mine,” says Kaeley. “Afterwards, I began to think a lot about the masks that people wear, thewalls that are built, and the little white lies that get told to avoid any sort of vulnerability or confrontation.” Kaeley Jade

Filled with a combination of shimmer and grit, with a touch of deep reflection, you are sure to be inspired by this lively and catchy track!
