Square

Vancouver, Canada based indie artist, Jillian Lake creates a style of moody folk music that has a way of twisting your pain, sorrow and challenges into a stunningly beautiful work of art for your ears.

With music that is often likened to the delicate feminine sounds of Feist, Maggie Rogers, and Phoebe Bridgers, Jillian Lake entered the music releasing space in 2018, with her debut EP, ‘Honey’.. A five track dream-pop collection that explores all that surrounds love and loss.

Jillian’s latest single release, ‘Steady Hands’ from her upcoming debut album release, ‘Younger Than’, which will also feature previously released singles, “XVII”, “Oliver”, “Bleed Baby Bleed”, and “Walk All Over You”.

“”Steady Hands” is a song about finding the person that you feel finally and perfectly intertwines with you. A depiction of the push and pull of relationships – fighting to keep them as you watch them drifting away. This song feels like a defeated last plea – soaked with vulnerability and longing. Following what your heart is screaming for, no matter the consequences.” Jillian Lake
