How would you describe your sound?

Bedroom, Indie, Dreamy, Pop, Rock

What inspired you to create ‘Hey Dear, Heidi’?

The lockdown made me do it. Aside from that, my parents inspired me.

They always say “take care”, every time we ended a phone call. It simply moves me.

I wrote the idea on my notes, combined all the inspiration & imagination that often came through my dream.

I elaborated the idea then came up with a story of “Hey Dear, Heidi”.

What does ‘Hey Dear, Heidi’ mean to you?

This song is really special for me.

It is the first song that written, produced & composed by me (DIY solo project), made by ambition, tears and effort.

However, this is the outcome of me wanting a progress in my life.

I previously challenged myself in this 2021 to at least, complete a full song on my own on Garageband, in my warm bedroom.

I’ve been keeping a lot of demos and lyrics on my notes which sometimes I don’t know what to do with it.

I want to keep pushing my limit and bring the best out of it.

What does the future hold for you?

I want to create more music that tells story.. Explore new sounds..

Collaborate with some talented people out there.

And experiment with my musical styles.

Are there any messages you’re wanting to portray with the release?

Leave your worries behind, stay positive, everything is gonna be alright.

What advice would you like to give to aspiring artists?

For aspiring artists out there, don’t lose hope.

I believe in process and progress, keep doing what you love and don’t be afraid to show it to the world.

This is also a self-reminder for myself, I was so lack of confidence, I know this is something that I have to get rid of.

“This year, I’ve decided to battle the anxiety and get rid of all the intrusive thoughts, at least have that courage to show my humble piece of work no matter how the outcome is.”
