Sunrise in Jupiter Share Explosive New Single “Take Me Home”

Alt-rock outfit Sunrise in Jupiter return with “Take Me Home”, a high-impact track that marks the second release from their forthcoming concept album Mission to Mars Vol. 1. Following the runaway success of their debut single “Satellite” (30M+ Instagram views), the band builds on that momentum with a powerful anthem rooted in real-life separation and longing.

Written during a six-month stretch away from family, “Take Me Home” draws from a voice message the frontman received from his daughter: “Daddy, I miss you. When are you coming home?” That moment became the emotional center of the song — and of the album’s space-travel narrative.

This isn’t just about space”, he shares. “It’s about trying to return to something real. That message broke something open in me.

The track follows an imagined astronaut nearing the end of a mission, using that storyline to explore loneliness, guilt, and hope. Musically, it fuses stadium-sized guitars with tighter, more melodic sections – a balance between power and restraint.

Don’t leave me empty-handed / Don’t leave me dead and stranded”, the chorus pleads, before exploding into layered vocals and thick distortion that echo into deep space.

Organ textures and swelling harmonies fill the final chorus, grounding the track in both scale and sentiment. It’s loud, yes – but also close. The sound of someone reaching out.

“Take Me Home” will close out Mission to Mars Vol. 1, tying together the album’s themes of distance, identity, and return. It’s a natural fit for fans of Muse, Foo Fighters, or Queens of the Stone Age — but with a story that’s entirely their own.
