Musician LosA may essentially be a singer, but she also plays the ukulele, piano, and guitar. The influences for such an individual vary, from solo female artists like Tei Shi, Clairo, Lorde, and more. All those varied influences within that one entity lead LosA toward her dreamy pop and indie sounds, to combine them into something of her own making.
“Move Different,” as is the whole “YOU ARE HER.E” EP, is a journey through euphoric feelings and personal connections with music. A track inspired by experiences at world-class festivals such as Outside Lands in San Francisco and Primavera Sound in Barcelona, it documents the elation and freedom of dancing with friends under the moonlight.
“Move Different” is an anthem devoted to an exciting crush on somebody the musician has never met but feels oddly connected to through their music. It’s also an ode to the energy and joy of live music, a sentiment beautifully encapsulated in the lyrics: “dancing in the meadow to stop time/I don’t care anymore if you’re here or not mine/know we’re not together, but I gotta say something/I move different around you, different around you.”
