Birmingham-based artist Letisha Gordon has garnered a loyal fan base across various social media platforms over the past few years with her soulful mini freestyles. She first went viral in 2017 with her cover of Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow”. Now, Letisha is following in the footsteps of prominent Birmingham talents like Mist, Lotto Boyz, and Lady Leshurr, solidifying her place as the next big talent to emerge from the West Midlands.

Her musical journey is marked by collaborations with both local and international artists. She has worked with local talents such as Dapz On The Map and Yatez, and has featured on Ghetts’ single “Bad Breed” and Wstrn’s Akelle Charles’ single “Waiting For”. Her performances supporting U.S. stars like August Alsina and Elhae Wstrn were a great display of her stage presence.

Her latest single, “Yo Yo”, blends her soulful voice with an infectious rhythm that captivates from the first note. With this song, she channels her personal challenges into a celebration of self-love and empowerment. Indeed, Letisha not only reclaims her own power but also inspires her audience to stay true to themselves and embrace their journey, no matter the obstacles they face.

“It’s about knowing that I’m admired, desired and not letting that make me lose focus on loving myself. I just came out of hospital after having an operation, and I just wanted to create something fun and powerful – that was how I was feeling. I wanted to claim my power back and send a strong message about the path I’m on.” – Letisha Gordon
