Linndsyeah’s debut album “How Does It Feel” is an entrancing labyrinth through human emotion that offers the listener a siren’s song, begging to be tugged deeper into the realms of love, loss, and personal discovery. From the laid-back grooves of “what’s your name?” to the haunting melodies of the title track, each song can evoke mysterious or laid-back elements solely connected to Linndsyeah’s soulful world.
The album opens with “What’s Your Name,” a lo-fi synth vibes of dreams setting an eccentric tone for much of the remainder of this sonic landscape. Linndsyeah’s brilliant vocals easily rope you in, while the driving percussion and harmonies give just a hint of a cheeky edge.
The title track on the album, “How Does It Feel?” explores a intimate look into forgiveness and resilience, tickled by the delicate tinkle of the piano keys. Lyrics that slice through the chest, a powerful message to get lost within the dark and brooding melody sung by Linndsyeah.
Closing out the record is “ykwyk,” yet another jaw-dropping display of Linndsyeah’s vocal talent and emotive songwriting. This is usually an irresistible pace and an addictive rhythm, which never fails in leaving the listener begging for more.
