Kitty, an emotionally expressive 25-year-old singer-songwriter hailing from Dublin but living and flourishing in London’s bustling heart, once more mesmerises listeners with emotive vocals and catchy indie pop melodies in her new single “Sympathy Pains.” The track opens up with simple piano chords accompanied by Kitty’s soothing airy vocals, welcoming listeners into an emotive narrative enhanced by rhythmic percussion and lively piano keys.

Kitty began her artistic journey at The BRIT School where she met such talents as Jade Bird and Olivia Dean, afterwards, her artistic journey took a temporary hiatus while she searched to rediscover an indie-pop sound. Kitty immersed herself in songwriting collaborations as well as toplining opportunities, earning songwriting credits while successfully toplining numerous songs during this timeframe.

“Swimming for Dummies”, opens up a new chapter, exploring themes of growth and development accompanying her transition into adulthood. The EP captures this experience of learning to swim without instruction – reflecting one’s unpredictable twenties journey.

Known for his work with Tom Grennan and Everything Everything, Kitty recently collaborated with producer Jules Konieczny on creating her new sound which draws upon TV and film influences to craft indie-pop arrangements that capture Kitty’s intimate lyrics while maintaining authenticity and staying true to Kitty’s introspective songs.

Kitty describes “Sympathy Pains” as her debut song and as the symbolism behind its creation as her turning point as an artist.
