Dustin and Kim have been creating music together since they met on the 2018 A Chorus Line National Tour. Their partnership is clearly audible in “Comin’ Home”, where talent and creative fire combine to achieve magnificent results.
For the sound of this single, the pair draws inspiration from musicians such as MUNA, Maggie Rogers, Florence & the Machine, and Paramore. Their musical approaches blend their interests and ambitions, and they recently headlined at New York City’s Bowery Electric before continuing to release new work.
The track was written in two places: Dolan Studios on the NYU campus and Dustin’s bedroom (dubbed “Rugby Road Studios”). Dustin was the Executive Producer, while Kim contributed melodies and lyrics – this music is the result of months of hard effort.
