Would you like to start by telling us a little about yourself?
Of course.. I live in Tel-Aviv, and I record music in my home studio. I’ve been recording an album for the past year and ‘Tough Love’, my latest release, is part of it.
How would you describe the overall vibe of your music?
I guess it’s atmospheric and hopefully authentic.
You have recently released your single, ‘Tough Love.. what was the inspiration behind the creation of this track?
It was a moment of seeing the reflection of my relationship.
What does ‘Tough Love’ mean to you?
Well, it’s a part of my story put in to a song.
The track talks about Resilience In Love, What does it mean to you, to be resilient when it comes to love?
I feel that’s truly important, a relationship evolves and grows and sometimes this process can include pain and barriers and to be resilient in those transformation phases, has given me many miracles in mine.
When it seemed impossible, it became possible and opened new things.
What did the creative process look like for ‘Tough Love’?
I recorded the song’s vocals and piano and then, with the advice of my husband who is also the co-producer, I searched for samples to produce the song. It was very interesting to produce it that way because I needed to find instrumental parts that were in the key and tempo. I had no vision about it, I was just sure of what I liked and what I didn’t like. Surprisingly, it took me an hour and all the production was there. Then we recorded live bass and B vocals by my friend IFat Goren. All this went fast but the mixing process then took a few months.
What do you feel has been one of the biggest lessons for you on your musical journey?
For me, it’s to be able to leave my “musical role models” out of the creation and create from my own instrument. I used to be very influenced by the music I was listening to and subconsciously writing music that sounded like it. But with this album I shifted and went with my voice and ability.
What would you like to see happen for you in your music from here?
I would like to meet the people that connect to my music. Play music live for them.
What is one message you would like to share with your fans?
We are all mirrors of one another, we can learn and evolve from every situation, be kind to yourself first and, when you are kind enough, pass it on to anyone you meet. It can even be a blessing if you wish for them in your heart, or even 1 penny for the needed.
Where can people find your music?
Online, any channel you like.
