Hailing from Boulder in the United States, psychedelic rock artist, Benton Crane creates music, inspired by the world around him, that fuses abstract concepts with storytelling that drives the imagination.
Passionate about the advocacy of mental health and the necessity of tuning in and tuning out, Benton Crane hopes that his creations will provide a refuge to those who need it most.
“Sometimes the heaviness of life requires that we allow ourselves to escape from the chaos” Benton Crane
Inspired by the current global climate crisis, and reminiscent of the sound of Sound Garden’s ‘Black Hole Sun’, Benton Crane’s latest single, ‘Nuclear Night’ is the second of an array of releases he has lined up until mid 2023.
Throughout the writing process, Benton discovered how many have the power to make change, however are choosing not to do so.
“This song breaks down the way many approach this climate crisis we’re in; not really taking it seriously, and likely won’t until it’s too late.” Benton Crane
‘Nuclear Night’ symbolises the end of an era and begs the question, “when we are on the brink of extinction, will people finally start to care?”.
This is a track that calls out from the darkness, to a worldly society, asking us all to acknowledge and take action. ‘Nuclear Night’ is a powerful track that will truly get you thinking.
