After moving from Chicago to Nashville, United States with his wife and children, to pursue his musical dream, Americana artist, Brian Allison describes the sound of his music as, ‘the wholesome feel of John Denver and the down-to-earth relatability of Chris Stapleton’.
Inspired by the likes of The Beatles, The Allman Brothers, The Eagles and Brandi Carlile, Brian Allison grew up with music in his veins. Brian’s father, who passed away in 2012, was his greatest motivator in the discovery of his music career path, and has led to the development of his passion and the sound that you hear today.
The latest single from Brian Allison, ‘Sweet Marie’ is a heart-wrenching Americana track that tells a story of a girl growing up without a father, and the difficulties that she experiences within finding love.
“‘Sweet Marie’ was written with my sister Amy Allison in 2020. It’s probably one of the saddest songs I’ve written. I’m very proud of this song and I think people will connect with this story.’” Brian Allison
Brian’s vocals, layered with stunning subtle harmonies, glide over a beautiful Americana soundscape that guide you to be a part of the storytelling.
