Hailing from West Sussex in the United Kingdom, 18 year old indie pop artist, Amber T began her musical journey at the age of 8, performing at open mic nights, teaching herself to play the guitar and keyboard and releasing her debut solo single, ‘Jigsaw’ at just 15 years old.
Inspired by the likes of The 1975, Sam Fender, Frank Ocean and Beabadoobee, Amber T has been busy travelling around the United Kingdom, playing festivals and shows of up to 5,000 people and recording an array of new material, with 7 tracks currently in the works.
Cowritten with Producer Michael Smith of RYP Studios, the latest single release from Amber T, ‘Ripped Jeans’ brings a grittier, alt pop vibe and features a mix of catchy lyricism, energy and assertiveness, performed with Amber’s signature vocal control, strength and versatility, well beyond her years.
The track speaks of teenage life, wanting to stay in her ‘ripped jean’s’ with the hopes that you will think of her.
This is the perfect track to let loose with the volume up, in a place where you don’t care how you’re looking while you’re dancing around the room.
