Based in Los Angeles, United States, singer-songwriter, Ian Kieffer returns to the music scene after a two year hiatus.
Having written and released music under many different monikers since 2015, Ian describes his musical journey as “like a portly man at a buffet who can’t decide which dish to eat . . . So he eats everything. But the gluttony is over!“.
Ian Kieffer has now released his debut single under his name, ‘Willem’; a turning point as he explores his roots of singer-songwriter songs filled with catchy melodies and lyricism that exudes emotion and humour.
‘Willem’ tells a story of taking a distrustful side glance at the questionable characters that mark his generation.
The understated piano instrumentation within this track has a powerful effect in creating space and emotion within the song, and the addition of the layers of warm and light vocals of Ian will have you hanging onto every word and note within the song.
