‘I Started a Garden’ is a crash course on how to deal with the mess of being in your twenties, feeling lonely, nostalgic and out of place and not knowing where you belong. While writing this album I was just waiting to ‘become myself again’, but I learned that everything you bury is a seed.” Sara Ammendolia
‘I Started A Garden’ is not overpowered by huge soundscapes, which creates a sense of fragility, however the powerful effect that these tracks have over the listener, with the beauty and sweetness of Sara’s vocals and the strength in the lyricism, will have you pondering for hours.
