UK artist, Sarah Carton, returns after the release of singles ‘Beaches on The Thames,’ ‘Homesick,’ and ‘Lemons,’ with a spine-tingling slow burn, ‘Fire,’ the first single from her upcoming debut EP, ‘Raw.’

Sultry vocals and stripped back beats combine with enigmatic piano sounds to take you into the mind and heart of Carton’s experience of a difficult relationship.

Carton’s relatively short music career began when she side-stepped gracefully from a 2020 covid-shutdown touring theatre show ‘Hatch,’ into a songwriting-as-outlet, music production-upskill situation. Certainly she has capitalized in a monumental fashion, with ‘Beaches on The Thames,’ reaching 1 million Spotify streams earlier this year, proving herself as a woman to watch.

Carton’s signature spoken word storytelling is present again on ‘Fire,’ yet her ethereal vocals find heavenly melodies which take us to peaceful pockets of calm and serenity.

The release of EP ‘Raw’ comes fast after ‘Fire,’ and Carton will launch it at Paper Dress Vintage in Hackney on Thursday 13th October.
