From Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam, electro-pop artist Kiey has a passion for mixing melancholic lyricism and melodies with hard hitting dance floor beats.

Inspired by the likes of Lana Del Rey, Britney Spears, Utada Hikaru, Bjork and Troye Sivan, Kiey debuted into the music scene in 2019, with his album, ‘Night To Myself’, which set the scene for the beginning of a journey filled with stunning creativity, vibrancy and electro-pop magic.

In 2021, Kiey release his single, ‘Sunday Sanctuary’, the title track for his latest album, capturing the attention of fans and industry professionals worldwide, and amassing over a million streams.

Sunday Sanctuary at its core is about the serenity and happiness of spending time with loved ones on a Sunday. The lyrical content describes the feeling of exhaustion after a busy week of work and the joy of spending the whole of Sunday with someone: be it a lover or a family member doing various mundane activities (taking walks, shopping, drinking coffee etc). It’s also one of my personal favourites on the album!” Kiey

The latest album release from Kiey, ‘Sunday Sactuary’ brings together twelve tracks to create an electro-pop journey filled with ethereal sounds, emotion filled passion and an exuberant sense of optimism.

Some of the highlights in the album include:

Right When The Sun Rises The opening track of the album, straight away dives into a sense of new beginnings. The verses in this track begin slower and bring more emotion, building up to a big dance floor chorus.

The song is about a break-up of an ambiguous relationship right on the cusp of sunrise and the feeling of relief and clarity one feels.” Kiey

Sundrift peaceful and meditative, this track brings a calming repetition and brings the listener towards a sense of euphoria.

On one hand,it beckons for serenity and calmness; on the other, it was written during the dark times of Covid where many known acquaintances of Kiey sadly passed away, thus, the song is tinged with the perspective of death, mourning and acceptance.” Kiey
