Katie Keddie now returns with her latest dreamy and captivating single, ‘Maybe You Were Right’.
Since 2019, Katie Keddie has been turning heads with her laid back, yet intricately detailed musical creations and performances, playing local shows and festivals and building an upcoming repertoire of tracks whilst working alongside a talented array of musicians.
Working with producer Jake Buckley and engineer Russ Clark, Katie Keddie has been working on the creation of her debut album, set for release later this year.
The latest single by Katie Keddie, ‘Maybe You Were Right’ is a taster of what is to come from her upcoming album.
“This song started as a simple acoustic phone recording, however during the recording process it had us recording bongos at 2am – I think the end result mirrors my typical style of melancholy lyricism but with a bit more sass, swagger and 90s nostalgia.” Katie Keddie
‘Maybe You Were Right’ is dreamy, wistful and laid-back, yet features sections of grooves that are sure to build captivation. Layered with stunning airy vocals. This is a song that will have you listening over and over again and discovering more each and every time.
