Hailing from Northern Michigan and residing in Los Angeles, United States, 23 year old singer-songwriter Yana Rose’ musical journey began with a life-long dream.. A dream to share her music with the world.

Inspired by the likes of Billie Eilish, Role Model and Sasha Sloan, Yana debuted her first single, ‘Somewhere Else’ earlier this year, and has now graced the world with three stunning tracks filled with introspective and reflective lyricism, versatile and ethereal vocals and dreamlike instrumental landscapes.

Recorded in her home studio and produced by Levi Bennington in Nashville, the latest single from Yana Rose, ‘I Should Just Shut Up’ is the first single to be released from her upcoming debut EP.

This song is a culmination of so many thoughts that ran wild in my head after living in LA for a few months. I also just started writing it after releasing my first single, and there was such much feedback coming towards me in all directions that I just didn’t know what to do with myself. Part of me felt so guilty about being exactly where I wanted to be (from an outsider’s perspective) yet still feeling so sad internally. I tried to convey that feeling through this song.” Yana Rose

The instrumental simplicity within this track creates a beautiful foundation that showcases the deep vulnerability and emotion within Yana’s smooth and mesmerising vocals.

Yana Rose hopes that this song will resonate with listeners that may feel alone and isolated, leaving them feeling more connected within their journeys.
