Scottish singer-songwriter, Emma Miller is one of the first independent artists in Scotland to be releasing her music through the NFT blockchain, having released ten editions of ‘Meet Me On The Lake’ via NFT on 26th August, along with an intricate work of art of a swan that her mother, Leslie Miller painted.
“For the first time in years, I’m incredibly excited about the future of my music and the new audience that are engaging with it via the blockchain. The support and encouragement I’ve had since entering the community in March has been nothing like I’ve ever experienced. There is still a long way to go with the development of this space and the technology, especially when it comes to introducing new people
to this world. There’s a revolution taking place and I feel lucky to be at the heart of it along with other incredible independent artists who are paving the way, such as Josh Savage, Violetta Zircon, Sammy Agrarian and Rae Isla, who I’ll be joining in London for a special show this November.” Emma Miller
Having had a taste of the blockchain world, Emma has now developed a string of upcoming NFT releases, including a 500 piece collection coming within the next few months.
Following the success of her first NFT, ‘Meet Me On The Lake’, Emma Miller has now released the stunning track on streaming platforms.
‘Meet Me On The Lake’ is beautifully delicate and holds an ethereal fragility. The song features the combination of the light tinkling of keys and soothing, yet empowering vocal harmonies that send you off into a dreamland of Emma’s creation.
If you are looking for an almost meditative and peaceful track that will inspire, ‘Meet Me On The Lake’ is a must listen.
