Based in Northampton, United Kingdom, multi instrumentalist and indie singer-songwriter, Stuart Bruce releases his Married At First Sight Australia inspired single, ‘Has The Feeling Faded?’.
With a sound likened to that of Santigold, Mew and Bon Iver, Stuart Bruce always had a pull towards music, however, for numerous reasons, had let music go and walked away.
“I heard an interview with Lee Mack (comedian) about his ADHD and realised that is sounded like me which would explain some of poor decisions I had made. I have since been diagnosed with ADHD and have never felt better in terms of my creativity and now work with other artists on their music as well.” Stuart Bruce
Produced and recorded by himself, within his home studio, and mixed by Dave Crawford from Plastic Trees Studio, Northampton, the latest single by Stuart Bruce, ‘Has The Feeling Faded?’ began through some notes that Stuart had made while watching Married at First Sight Australia.
Many songs tell a story of the beginning and the end of a relationship, however, Stuart wanted to highlight the messy in between.. the stage when a relationship is still together, but things are not going well and the partners feel that they are being taken for granted.
‘Has The Feeling Faded?’ features layers of catchy rhythms combined with a mix of organic and synthesized instrumentation and soaring vocals.. The outcome is an atmospheric soundscape that lifts you off into a world of possibility.
