Based in Los Angeles, United States, artist, producer and songwriter, Nick Kandler began his musical releasing journey in 2020, with his debut single, ‘Closure’, building quite an audience and amassing 80,000 spotify plays on his track, and since this time has released his single, ‘Stay’ and now his latest single ‘Kill You Slowly’.
Nick is well known for the passion and desire to create music that makes him feel euphoric, as he blends the use of electronic soundscapes with his deep and heartfelt lyricism and warm vocals.
The latest single from Nick Kander, ‘Kill You Slowly’ was originally inspired by a Julia Michaels song, ‘All Your Exes’.
“It goes from a soft pop song into something more rocky on the hook. I wanted to take that concept and make it into something that I feel hasn’t been done in this way. The first verse was a free style that I had written the first day and we had to come back to finish the writing. The song is about a white lie that I told someone I was seeing and it ultimately ruined things between us.” Nick Kandler
‘Kill You Slowly’ is a track that is bound to be swimming around your head after listening. The catchy vibe and the smooth vocals are sure to catch you off guard as you find yourself singing the song to yourself in the car, around the house, or.. in the shower.
