The latest single from Dea Matrona, ‘Glory, Glory (I Am Free)’, was written during lockdowns in the United Kingdom.

The track is about a need for a sense of community and about making sacrifices for our loved ones.. It was written on the back of the realisation that the separation experienced during lockdowns, made them want to spend time with the people they loved so much more.

“We wrote it in the back of a car on a winter’s day. After having recently watched It’s A Wonderful Life, I feel that the film influenced the lyrics in a beautiful way as we were inspired by the idea of a spiritual experience. For me this song is about searching for answers in such strange and uncertain times…” Dea Matrona
