Maria Pellicano Moves Beyond Inner Struggle And Into Freedom With Single, ‘Cover Me’

I am extremely excited and honoured to share today’s release of Melbourne, Australian singer/songwriter, Maria Pellicano’s latest single, ‘Cover Me’.

Having spent over 20 years inspiring singers, speakers, influencers and business people, through her work with teaching singing, coaching, speaking, sharing her book (The Art of Powerful Communication) and leading, as well as spending a life time exploring her inner world, Maria Pellicano’s music invites you to join her in a deep, raw and authentic reflection.

As you listen to her music, there is a vulnerability that shines through, and you can’t help but be deeply touched by the depth of the sentiments being expressed.

Maria’s latest single, ‘Cover Me’ was written during the Covid-19 pandemic.. A time that brought an array of different feelings, including restriction and inner turmoil.

Produced by Joshua Hennessy of Pivotal Music Melbourne, the song explores the idea and reflection of turning your attention to the belief that there is a power that lies beyond ourselves and that it can guide us through the difficult times, leading us to a place of strength, hope and freedom.

“When I wrote this song, it was an imagination process of looking at what I had, and wanting more.. Wanting to believe that my back was not against the wall.. Realising that the wall was not really there, and that I could go beyond that wall that I was feeling. ‘Cover Me’ was written in Covid-19 lockdowns and allowed me to find a sense of moving from restriction, into freedom.” Maria Pellicano
