Budapest, Hungary based singer/songwriter, Linda joins us to talk all about her latest single release, ‘Little Prince’.
Influenced by artists including, Chris Cornell, Velvet Revolver, GNR, Foo Fighters, Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus, Linda has a unique way of expressing her music, focusing on her love of flying and aviation. She tells flying stories about special pilots, engineers whom built planes and special home built airplanes.
“Never grow up! If you do so, don’t forget your dreams.” Linda
Produced by Abel Mihalik, who Linda met online, during the beginning of the pandemic, ‘Little Prince’ was recorded as a bonus track for Linda’s upcoming, eleven track album and was recorded during the pandemic in a combination of rehearsals rooms, bedrooms, and in Abels living room.
“The story of the Little Prince was inspired by my favourite novel, the Exupery’s Little Prince. I just feel like him. Some days I am searching myself, my home, my happiness, some days, as a child, whom will never grow up, I feel happy, and honest about everything around me. I think this is the most powerful song of my upcoming album, Trip to Myself.” Linda
‘Little Prince’ is a track filled with distorted guitars, energetic beats on the drums and the powerful and enticing vocals of Linda.

Tell us a little about who you are in everyday life.
In my everyday life, I work at an automotive company, as an Agile specialist… In my free time, I fly UL or glider planes, and I make music.
I wake up every morning with my dogs, and I travel with public transport or by bike.
What was it that first got you into music?
As a little kid my great-grandmother, encouraged me to sing, to tell poems.
As a kid you are not shy or afraid of these things.
I really enjoyed it.
How would you describe the feel of your music?
Each song is telling a story.
I think if the most important is not what I want to tell, or my stories behind, but how the listeners interpret those.
If one line, one little melody can make their day or a short moment better for them, I achieved my goal.
You write music about Aviation and Flying.. What was it that made you decide to focus on this specific topic within your music?
I am flying with glider planes for 10 years by now.
I always enjoyed and loved doing this.
I wanted once to make a music video, with me flying, but I was told mostly, that’s a stupid idea.
However during the beginning of the pandemic I gave that a go.
The song was called CHANSING DREAMS, and Matt Hall inspired it, as he is my role model, and he encouraged me to always chase my dreams, never give up.
So basically – to answer your question – my love of aviation and music, inspired me to combine these two, and tell aviation stories with my music.
You are releasing your new single, ‘Little Prince’.. tell us a little about how this single came about.
This song is inspired by the novel of Exupéry.
It is my interpretation of the story, as sometimes I feel like the Little Prince.
I love the symbolism from it, we can learn a lot from their friendship, and how they explain the world to each-other.
I hope I will never grew old, and I will be able to see the things around me with the eye of a child, honest, simple naïve.
However, on the other hand, I feel, that I am looking for a place, I am not home yet, and I feel, that the life is a long trip, just like in the book.
I left the end of the song open, same as Exupery did with his story.
Hopefully the listeners can have their own interpretation, end for the ending of it.
What does ‘Little Prince’ mean to you?
It’s me 🙂
Or it can be you.
You know “All grown-ups were once children… but only few of them remember it.”
So Little Prince to me, is identification of the values of the character from the novel.
What is your creative process like, when you are creating your music?
I always have a story in my mind, and I imagine the music for it, then I explain to the musicians, producers I work with, what is the vision.
Usually I write the melody and the lyrics first, and the chords came after that.
Structure is changing a bit during the process, and after I have the whole instrumentals, I sometimes change a bit the lyrics.
Once all the instruments are recorded as raw, we record the singing.
First the lead vocals, then we spend more time with the back vocals, than with anything else.
Has there been anything along the releasing process that you would do differently next time?
Sure, there is always room for improvement.
I learned a lot with each song about the industry itself, about singing technique.
But hey, these 12 songs are capturing an actual me from those days, and we should not change them.
Each time I try to be a better myself, and by understanding and accepting, learning, how to make technically things one step better than before, we are on the best way to make progress.
What would success in your music look like to you?
If one person could tell after listening any of my songs, that it made his/her day better, we our work was not in vain.
Is there any message that you would like to share with your audience?
Do your thing, never care about what others are telling you.
Do what makes you happy, work hard, fight for it, everything else will come along.
Where can people go to find your music?
Youtube, Spotify… and all the online platforms.
Soon we will release a whole album on CD.
Keep in touch on my socials, so you can get yours.
