1. Bird – Emma River
Los Angeles, USA based Norwegian folk singer/songwriter, Emma River, has released her 5th single, ‘Bird’.
Influenced by artists such as The Staves, Lizzy McAlpine, Melisma’s and Mariah Carey, Emma began her musical journey immersed in the cultural life of Røyken in Norway.. She began with playing the piano and singing at just six years of age.
Emma’s musical journey has taken her to life in the UK and now Los Angeles, USA where she currently resides and being involved in the church worship team, she has performed for and with some big name artists, including Stevie Wonder, Kanye West, Tori Kelly, Jessie J, Tasha Cobbs, Brian Courtney Wilson and Robert Glasper.
The latest single from Emma River, ‘Bird’, is all about living freely in the moment, just as the birds to.. about focusing away from your worries.

2. Feels Like Home – Enrose
US based Gabi Rose, is the woman behind the stunning and emotional musical project Enrose.
Inspired by artists such as Hiatus Kaiyote, Silk Sonic, Jill Scott and D’Angelo, Gabi dives into her life experiences to create her music, preferring to write in the moment of the experience, as a way to help her heal and move forward.
Gabi leads the way in encouraging artists to explore all that is possible with their artistry.. to not be afraid in stepping outside the realms of ‘normal’ and challenge the ideas of what they know music to be.
The latest Enrose track, ‘Feels Like Home’, is about facing your challenges and allowing them to become your refuge.. the feeling of coming home.
Gabi says it “reminds me to look back on the low points in my life and recharge. I can sit more comfortably in those negative memories with both feet on the ground because I know I’m going to get out of it with better perspective.”

3. Blue – DENIM BLù (Album)
Inspiring Toronto, Canada based singer/songwriter, DENIM BLù, creates his music as an act of artistic rebellion, fighting the ‘norms’ that society leads us to believe.
Society has told him that he’s not supposed to be Chinese and making pop music.. He’s not supposed to be gay.. He’s not supposed to emote sex.. DENIM BLù challenges all of these through the creation of his music.
Having had his music lead him through China, The UK and Canada, DENIM BLù has created a pure pop fantasy, drawing from genres of blues, dance, electronica and R&B.
DENIM BLù’s latest album, ‘Blue’ is centred around the theme of blue.. from the artwork on the cover design, to the feeling you feel as you listen through the tracks.
The album explores themes of falling in love, coming to terms with a break-up and diving to those deep places of lament, taking you on a journey through all the emotions and ups and downs in a relationship.

4. Songbird – Darcy Kate
Hailing from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, Darcy Kate blends genres of folk, rock, blues and pop within her music.
With a sound reminiscent of Jewel, Norah Jones and Fleetwood Mac, Darcy creates an imaginative musical world of story, through themes of love, change, connection and adventure.
Darcy Kate’s latest single, Songbird is the third single to be released from her upcoming album.
The song is a very personal, raw and stripped back folk song, that Darcy wrote during her experience of the Covid-19 pandemic and with all the mixed emotions that went along with the experience.
“I wanted to write something as a reminder to myself to keep growing and pursuing what is important to me despite the barriers, fear, and dark times.”
The acoustic style in this track, with the piano and acoustic guitar, mixed with Darcy Kate’s vocals and delicate strings, allow you to feel the depth of the emotion within the track.. It’s a song that will reflect a sense of your own pandemic experience.

5. Wish – Shae Brock
US based singer/songwriter, Shae Brock, shares a nostalgic sense of 90’s rock within her dream rock style music.
Shae’s music is continually inspired by deep connections around her, moments you can taste, architecture, history, that ever nostalgic feeling of a retro memory and by the natural surroundings of desert and mountains that have captivated her throughout her life.
Shae Brock’s single, ‘Wish’ is an emotional and nostalgic 90’s rock ballad, centred around that sliding doors moment, when a person you meet can completely change the direction of your life.
“It’s funny how you can meet someone and they truly change your course of direction. And that led me to move cities for a few months, be a stranger, and write lonely hearted music.”
