Temme Scott Waits For The Return Of Love With Single, ‘One Foot In’

Los Angeles, United States based artist, Temme Scott writes raw and vulnerable storytelling music that fuses influences of folk singer-songwriter melodies with soulful vocals to reveal the secrets that are hiding within plain sight.

Inspired by the likes of Samia, Donna Missal, Madi Diaz, Your Smith, Meija, MUNA and Lizzy McAlpine, Temme Scott began her musical journey in 2016 whilst studying a course in psychology at UCLA.

Since that time, Temme has explored the power of house shows through her 22 show tour across the west of America, and has developed “Silverhouse Songs”; a house show series within Silverlake for independent artists.

Produced in collaboration between Temme Scott and Grant Milliken, the latest single from Temme Scott, ‘One Foot In’ tells a heart-wrenching story of waiting for love to return to you. It captures the desire for the other party to know that you are still halfway in.

“A lyric from one of my favorite songs by MUNA says, “said I always had one foot out, well baby I got two now.” This song was essentially inspired by that line, but twisted in meaning — if I always had one foot one, that means I might have one still in, too. It’s a song about waiting for someone to come back to you.” Temme Scott

With raw yet mesmerizingly smooth melodic vocals layered on top of the instrumental atmosphere of piano chords, guitar lines and the subtly of a light drum beat, create a space for the delicate emotions to seep through and hit you right at the heart.
