In September this year, we had the honour of sharing Leeds, United Kingdom artist, Hannah Trigwell and her single release, ‘Comfortable’. You can read the article here.

Hannah now returns with her latest single release, ‘Bff’.

Alt-pop singer-songwriter, Hannah Trigwell began her career busking the streets at the age of 17. Since that time, she has achieved independent music success that many dream of, having developed a YouTube following of over 800,000, released many top 10 international hits and sold out tours across the world.

Recorded and produced by Ben Matravers (Easy Life) and mixed by Lee Smith (Holly Humberstone), Hannah’s latest single, ‘Bff’ is the second single release from her upcoming 9 track album, for which she is releasing a new track every 6 weeks.

BFF is a nostalgic song about my first best friend. In primary school, my best friend and I made a plan to run away from home and build a treehouse and live together. It involved me running down the motorway at 3AM in the morning! Obviously, it never happened… ‘but I didn’t get chance, growing up too fast, nothing lasts forever’.

She recently reached out, and I was afraid to get back in touch because I wanted our memories of each other to always be how we were at our best; just two little girls playing and imagining how our futures would be as best friends forever.” Hannah Trigwell

For lovers of Gabrielle Aplin, Tom Odell, Sara Bareilles, ‘Bff’ dives into a deep emotional space of reminiscence and power, highlighting the stunning complexity in Hannah’s mesmerising vocals amongst a dreamy instrumental landscape.
