Sydney based, Aussie alt-indie rock band, Bloodyarvo was born out of a common mission between friends following struggles felt during the isolation of Covid-19 lockdowns.
Deep diving into themes of escapism and self-consciousness, Bloodyarvo began with multi-instrumentalist, Ariq searching for a way to explore the depression and isolation he was feeling during lockdowns, and finding a sense of escapism through songwriting.
Identifying a common experience between three of his university friends, the group was formed in 2021, beginning a psychedelic musical journey that would take listeners out of their present realities.
Fast forward to today, Bloodyarvo have now released their debut single, ‘Feel My Heart Sleeps’, written by front man, Ariq as a cry for help, realising that he was feeling stuck in a cycle of self destructive behaviour to escape his present reality.
While lyrically, the track contains some deep, reflective and melancholic themes, ‘Feel My Heart Sleeps’ brings a level of indie-pop energy that leaves you feeling uplifted and brings a vibe reminiscent of The 1975.
‘Feel My Heart Sleeps’ is a song filled with a sense of professionalism and experience and is an absolute must add to your weekend playlist.
