We had the honour of sharing the stunning Live Acoustic EP, ‘So Much For Love’ from Brixton, United Kingdom singer-songwriter, Silas Armstrong in February this year. You can read the article here.
With a style of music that he coins, “Emotional pop, with the energy of hip hop, rock, and a constant nod to the 80s”, Silas Armstrong began following his solo musical path in 2021 after spending lockdowns writing a collection of powerful pop ballads about his estranged father and sharing a cover that caught the hearts of many.
Whilst his solo music career began in 2021, Silas Armstrong is certainly not new to the music scene. Prior to his solo career, Silas had worked on album campaigns for the likes of Tom Walker, The Wombats and Rick Astley, produced radio for Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, played at Glastonbury and toured Europe with Panic at the Disco! as a band member and performed as a part of indie band, Kid Champion, tropical pop group Youth Club and indie artist Rocky Nti.
The latest single release from Silas Armstrong, ‘Silver’ is a taster of what’s to come from his upcoming feature album, for which he will be releasing a single a month until the February 2023 release.
Inspired by his mother, ‘Silver’ has been released at the end of the United Kingdom summer, as the perfect energy-filled, nostalgic anthem to jump in your car and head off on a fun and carefree road trip.
Complimented with a soundscape filled with summery shimmering guitar sounds, backing vocals and a sultry saxophonist, Silas is ready to join you on your next road trip to anywhere.
