Brisbane based Aussie indie alternative outfit, Alta Falls had spent a lot of time together as a result of the 2020 Covid-19 lockdowns and it was out of this experience that the musical project was born.
Inspired by a wide array of indie influences, Alta falls mix the sounds of Preatures style rhythms, guitars likened to that of Spacey Jane, The Weeknd vibe synth lines and the energy of the Wombats, all neatly pulled together to create the unique and signature sound of Alta Falls.
Produced by Aidan Hogg (G Flip, Holy Holy) and collaborating with drummer, Sebastian ‘Baz’ Jennings Hingston (Tia Gostelow), the latest single release from Alta Falls, ‘The Space In Between’ takes the vibe down a notch from previous high energy tracks, such as their previous release, ‘Trust Me’.
“The Space In Between’ describes the energy between soulmates.. The energy is palpable, almost like it’s developed a heartbeat and a pulse of its own.” Nathanael (Lead Singer)
The track leads listeners through a calming and peaceful, laidback soundscape, utilising warm and harmonious vocals, soothing synths and a casually catchy drum rhythm.. The perfect sound to for a chill session during a weekend, after a hard week.
