Nashville, United States based indie rock artist, Paul Vinson began his musical journey living on a farm in a rural part of Florida, United States. It was during this period of time that his clear vision to become and his belief that he would truly become an artist was born.
Inspired by the likes of The 1975, Third Eye Blind and Weezer, Paul Vinson creates his own spin on the sound of indie rock, combining the sounds of his country classic rock background with the more modern rock sound that you hear today, such as the vibe of artists like Dawes and The Killers.
Produced by Nashville native, Bryce Dubray of indie band, Future Crib, and mixed by Bobby Knepper of Dreamer Boy, Paul Vinson’s latest single release, ‘Drama Queen’ speaks of the anxiety and overthinking that we create when we’re in a relationship conflict.
Within the catchy indie rock track, Paul pours his heart and emotions through the desperation in his lyricism and the warmth and relatability of his vocal sound. This is a song that perfectly balances the polarity between the fun and hooky guitar and drum filled soundscape and the vulnerability expressed within the song.
‘Drama Queen’ is a must add for your playlists, whether driving, chilling on a weekend or heading out.
