Norwegian singer/songwriter, Ea Othilde began writing music at the tender age of 11 and her debut EP was underway by the time she was 15 years old.
Inspired by the likes of Elliott Smith, PJ Harvey and early Bon Iver songs, Ea Othilde is not afraid to write lyrics that cut straight to the heart of difficult subjects, such as dysfunctional relationships and ‘the fear of missing out’ in her adolescent years.
After spending two years exploring in the studio with producer Hans Olav Settem, Ea Othilde’s debut EP is finally making it to the ears of her listeners, via Koke Plate.
Featured on the EP, is beautiful folk pop inspired ballad, ‘Green River’, the third track on the EP and reminiscent of the early days of Bon Iver and Clairo.
“Green River is about taking on too much in life because you’re afraid of missing out. As a result you end up with a little bit of everything, which feels more like nothing.“ Ea Othilde
