Back in February, we wrote an article introducing a brand new Melbourne based music magazine, dreamt up by creators, Madison Woods, Alannah Sawyer and Eleni Vitale, Foley Magazine.
Over the last 8 months, the magazine has grown into a truly supportive an independent creative magazine that focuses on local up-and-coming alternative artists and members of the Naarm/Melbourne music community, as well as celebrating art in all its forms.
If you are new to Foley Magazine, you will find the pages filled with interviews, lyric breakdowns, visual art, memorable moments, record collections and a very special horoscope section; Foley Magazine is full of incredible creatives and their personable stories.
“We aim to highlight some of our favourite artists, musicians, record labels and businesses throughout this magazine. There is a wide range of people within the industry that we are inspired by, and we wanted to create a space that encourages diversity and showcases emerging music industry professionals.”
Edition number 5 is the latest release of the magazine and features a theme, Celestial Bodies.
“In this edition, we wanted to establish an atmosphere that represented the endless possibilities, much like the universe and space.”
Throughout the pages, you will find imagery of cosmic life, starry nights and galactic visuals.
“Every artist and contributor within the music community is a celestial body – and each one comes together to make a universe of creation”
