Square

Right now, there is just so much amazing new music coming through and we are really excited to share these 5 incredible new releases from these amazing artists.

1. Cucumber – Sammy Haig (EP)

Sammy Haig’s story behind his EP, ‘Cucumber’ is one of intrigue and a heroes journey of creatively overcoming obstacles that are being faced, to carve out his own path.. the outcome.. something truly beautiful and unique.

This story is set in a prestigious music school in America.. before receiving his diploma upon completion of the course, Sammy is required to nail an upcoming final recital.. the problem?.. Sammy, up until this point has not been able to successfully perform in front of an audience, due to the limitations of the pandemic.

Who would have thought that prior to this recital, the pandemic would leave its trail all across the world.. while leaving so much devastation, also providing so much new possibility for those willing to give it a chance.

Sammy not only saw this new possibility but grasped it with both hands. He developed a concept of morphing his music into a work of digital art, creating videos that work along with his music.. It was also a way that he could collaborate with artists from not only his local town, but from anywhere in the world.. Sammy then convinced his faculty to allow his new style of music and art creation as his contribution to completing his diploma.

As you listen to the tracks on Sammy’s ‘Cucumber’ EP, you will be blown away by the soulful feel of the tracks and truly professional and masterful production.

Each track brings a different story to life and is refreshing to hear all the collaborators that have been involved at each level.
